1. About Musthad
The European Union has greenlit a new legislative decree aimed at lessening the environmental footprint of textile firms. The decree mandates companies to steer clear of textile destruction and instead promote eco-friendly circular practices like upcycling, recycling, and waste resale.
Musthad offers a software solution designed to assist textile and clothing companies in minimizing, reusing, and maximizing surplus materials. The objective is to expedite the transition of companies towards a circular economy, rendering it more effective, quantifiable, and expandable.
2. Design strategy
Crafting a fresh visual identity, beginning with a logo makeover, to seamlessly align the brand with its ties to the textile & clothing sector and the communication demands associated with the digital product pivotal to fulfilling Musthad's mission.
3. The meaning behind the design
We have revisited the symbolic figure of the triskele starting from the design of a hanger, with a clear reference to circularity. The number three is a recurring theme for Musthad. Three are the actions of the software: digitalization, circular management, tracking and measurement.
4. Color system
Primary palette: Gamboge Dye / Persian Green Dye / Woad Blue Dye / Tyrian Purple Dye / Indigo Dye + Carbon (Black) + Linen (White). This colors are inspired by ancient dyes which are still part of human heritage & collective knowlegde about textile production.
