Gunpowder is an Australian aged gold rum inspired by the history of piracy and colonization of Australia. The name emerges from the gunpowder "proof" test that sailors would perform to see if their alcohol rations watered down. The design and concept stems from Australia's unique use of rum as currency in its colonial days.
