King's Kone's Sundae Menu
The prompt for this assignment was to create a menu using only 3 colors with at least 6 items on the menu. We had to start learning repetition and contrast in the art of graphic design. We were told to start practicing these different principles while making a menu. I was going for a retro vibe theme menu/food place. I really liked the red color for the logo, and I wanted to find a color that wasn’t tacky but still fit the retro vibe. I made the silhouette ice cream cone logo with color at first, not realizing I was over the color limit for this exercise. I later made the outline of the cone which ended up coming out much better than the original.
