Invitation Exercise 

In this project, we were tasked with creating an invitation to an event using Adobe InDesign that featured only text without using any other images. Since the project needed to draw visual interest solely through text, I chose to use strong visual hierarchy in this project, featuring two fonts of various sizes. The subject of the invitation was an inside joke between a friend that eventually became the subject of this fictional invitation. 

My original goal for this exercise was to avoid clitche designs featured on many wedding invitations with large flowing script. However, as I progressed on the design, I found that the cursive script I used was the most effective at providing distinction between the rest of the information found on the card. While this is not what I would have preferred, I am satisifed with the result as it conveys the information effectively.
