TYPO BRUTAL
TYPO BRUTAL is a series in which I combine AI-generated brutalism architecture as typographic ABC with vector illustrations. Adapted from the famous “sir res negative” drawing of op-art master Victor Vasarely, each typographic architecture was remixed to create a perspective fineline overlay which adds even more depth to the brutalism structures.
In this series I focused on how AI content could become analog art. My main intention was getting it out of the computer to hold something in my hands instead of just storing the pics in never-ending digital archives. A second question was: “What would Vasarely do with the AI?” I combined several steps to create an XR (= crossmedial) workflow.
The rough aesthetics merge with the delicate look of the fineline vectors and adapt the spatial component of the respective letter resulting in analog art.

These remixes serve as a template for the Polaroid transfer print series, in which the images are transferred onto watercolor paper to create the analog counterpart as a unique piece. The final series is a complete ABC which I named TYPO BRUTAL.
