Shuffle the deck of animal cards.

Place the deck face-down in the center of the playing area.

The youngest player goes first and play proceeds clockwise.

On their turn, a player draws two cards from the top of the deck and places them face-up in front of themself.

If the two cards match (i.e., they depict the same animal), the player keeps the pair and places them in a separate pile beside them.

If the cards do not match, the player flips them face-down again in the same position, and their turn ends.

The next player then takes their turn.

Play continues until all the pairs of cards have been matched.

The player with the most pairs of cards at the end of the game wins.

If a player matches a pair of cards, they get an additional turn.
