Boston College Men's Hockey aimed to elevate fan engagement and attendance for their series against Vermont, historically experiencing lower turnout in past season. Drawing inspiration from the beloved Adam Sandler movie, Happy Gilmore, the event was planned to create a memorable game day experience for fans. Through innovative collaborations and creative elements, Happy Gilmore Night transcended traditional game promotions, achieving great results and leaving a lasting impact on attendees.

The following is my submission for the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) 'Best of' awards. The awards are broken down into the categories including revenue generation, brand management, fan development, and best in class. The following pages and subsequent files were submitted for the fan development subcategory of game day promotion.

Category Description:
Fans bring life, energy, and passion to concrete structures. Their connection creates commerce and is the lifeblood of our programs. Everyone remembers certain games. Sometimes a game day experience is so memorable that fans think about it for years and years. Please describe your best game day promotion, what made it so memorable and why it will have your fans coming back for more.
