“The main idea was to create a simple and colorful composition, constructed by the seven arches of the rainbow joining at a certain point to continue in one. As the rainbow is divided in seven, it literally depicts the various options and choices connected with the notion of freedom".
the rainbow was selected winner on the competition to be build in the Sziget Festival
after the rain, always look up
the beginning, from the paiting to the assembling
moments to test the nerves: a huge storm came to verify the structure
happy moment after see for the first time the rainbow completed, all done with the short schedule of 10 days.
In order to bring refreshment to a hot day and to give some cool moments for the citizens passing by, water sprays are attached to the arches of the rainbow. In case of right conditions and with a little luck, the chances of creating real rainbows in Sziget are maximized.
