Personal Inflation Rate Calculator UX (BBC News)

Brief:
A calculator that helps you keep track of how much you spend on different things like food, clothes, and housing. Then, it tells you how much prices have gone up for you personally.
Let's say you have 1000 rupees to spend this month. How would you divide that money between different things you need to buy?
Methodology:
The calculator uses the Consumer Price Index (CPI), December 2022, as a starting point, and each item in the basket of goods has its own weight and inflation rate.
When you change how much you spend on a certain category, the calculator will update the weight of that category and adjust your inflation rate based on how much more or less you spend compared to the average Indian.
