The Lehigh Alumni Bulletin magazine is the university’s flagship publication that highlights the innovation, collaboration, interdisciplinary endeavors and people of the Lehigh community. 

New and Redesigned

The Spring 2023 issue kicked off a fresh new look for the magazine. Data driven, the redesign reflected our goal of making the magazine more modern, engaging and interesting to all our alumni across class years and ages.

A new upfront section, titled The Nest, creates a fun, lively pace with a mix of story lengths and topics, as well as creatively leaning into our mountain hawk mascot.
Feature stories ebb and flow within these pages as another way to “unbucket” content into an organic-style presentation.

Opportunities to Engage

Two new columns—Ask the Expert and Squawk—introduced opportunities for engagement: Ask the Expert gives tips and tricks from alums on how to do things, such as bake a prize-winning apple pie, or how to navigate hot button issues, highlighted by spot illustrations; and Squawk uses quirky historical images that invite alumni to give comments and share memories about life at Lehigh.

Featuring Photography, Illustration and Typography

The Bulletin uses illustration and environmental portraits to put alumni, students and faculty at the forefront of the publication. Our imagery conveys the unique personalities and life experiences of our community in a dynamic, energetic way.
