EN. Every year Bacánika organizes the Salón Visual Bacánika, an illustration show that takes place on SOFA (Salón del Ocio y la Fantasía), where an open invitation is made to artists, designers, and illustrators to participate by creating an artwork that responds to the theme or specifications that have been set for the show. More than 1.000 people attended the call but only 10% of them made the cut. In 2018 I earned a spot in the selected group and the one you'll see below is the illustration I made, along with some additional visual material from the show.

Cada año la Revista Bacánika organiza el Salón Visual Bacánika, una muestra de ilustración que tiene lugar dentro de las actividades del SOFA (Salón del Ocio y la Fantasía), donde se hace una invitación abierta a artistas, diseñadores e ilustradores para que participen, creando una pieza que responda a la temática o especificaciones establecidas en la convocatoria. A la muestra se presentan más de 1.000 personas, pero solo una décima parte de ellas clasifica. En 2018 logré quedar dentro de los seleccionados y la que verán a continuación es la ilustración que hice, junto con algún material adicional de la muestra.
