Duelo de Vogue
Vogue was first danced by black drag queens in Harlem, New York.  Admiring the glamorous white women they used to see down Fifth Avenue and posing as models in the magazines, these drag queens would emulate those women in parties and nightclubs, giving birth to a dance technique called Vogue.

Few months ago, the party “Duelo de Vogue” (Vogue Clash) started to overtake Belo Horizonte’s LGBT nightlife, were competitors gather to see who makes better face, do more exaggerated poses, and create the most passionate dance, without leaving aside the technique required.
