In this project, I explored the beauty and versatility of the heron through various artistic expressions. The series begins with an encyclopedic drawing, capturing the intricate details and anatomy of the heron, from its slender neck to its graceful wingspan. Next, I designed a sleek and modern logo, distilling the essence of the heron into a simple, recognizable symbol that evokes its elegance and poise. The gesture drawing brings out the fluidity and movement of the bird, with quick, expressive lines that convey its natural grace. Finally, the transformation drawing reimagines the heron in a familiar classic to the art of origami . This collection demonstrates my ability to work with diverse styles and techniques, all unified by the captivating subject of the heron. I used both vector design skills and traditional art materials to compile this project.
