In the spring of 2012, Saucony launched Kinvara 3, the lightest running shoe they ever made. To spread the word among hardcore runners, we sent out K3-branded USB bracelets to well-respected running shoe reps across the country. When plugged in, the bracelets unlocked an exclusive preview microsite. Built to reflect the minimalist qualities of the shoe, the site uses parallax to construct the sneaker piece by piece as users scroll down the page, providing design notes, how-to-videos, and tech specs along each step.
