For the assignment "glorious grids" we needed to use a shape bank and make 3 different size pixel art versions of an animal. I choose to use a tripod fish for this assignment

First thing as to make two sketches of each size that low, med, and high poly

The drawings with a star are the ones i choose for the final version

The next step was to make final illustrations of each drawing with the selected shape bank

low poly was probably my least favorite to work on as it was hard to design the tripod fish not only with limited shapes but limited pixels

med poly was a bit easier to work on then low poly

The high poly version is my favorite as I think it adds more detail and makes it much easier to understand what the animal looks like
