These photographs document CSSI's Prisoners and Staff Training Programme for Ending Violence Against Women. They were taken in Rove Prison, the main high security prison of Honiara, in the Solomon Islands. Here, violence based on gender is extremely present, ranking it one of the highest countries in the world in terms of violence against women. This training program, supported by UN Women, is put into place in order to shape the prisoner's way of thinking, and to make them realize that everyone is equal, no matter age, sex, status. From the footage filmed by UNTV, a television feature (for 21st Century) will be released to global broadcasters in February 2015.
