The Final Launch - Life In Minature

The Introduction
This project allows us to embrace our playful nature through an exploration of the imaginative realm. Toys will be the primary subject within the visual narrative which will be presented across four photographs. The narrative is not constricted by rules or regulations. The aim of this narrative is to captivate viewers' attention and allow them to delve into this storytelling experience.
The Narrative
The narrative follows the journey of two astronauts stranded on the moon. There is a chance for one of them to be sent back to earth, using a slingshot contraption. In a selfless act of courage and love, the male astronaut decides to send his partner back home, sacrificing his chance of survival.

He is left alone on the moon and he slowly turns into a living skeleton. Although he is alone and isolated, he finds solace in the warmth of the fire he created. This narrative displays the depth of sacrifice.
Storyboards
This storyboard displays the composition of each photograph. This includes the placement of the toys as well as the composition of the background. I aim to set the setting up using a black background combined with the use of artificial lighting. Front and soft light will be used to create the desired effect which highlights the subjects. A long shot will be used effectively to display the vast amount of space and to emphasize isolation.
