An african island in an american city
By Moken Nunga

"This album is a testament, it is music therapy, and proof that depression does not exist in the minds and lives of those who, in their worst downfalls, discover their greatest uprisings. For if depression ever existed, our forefathers and mothers would have all succumbed in misery and still be walking 50 miles from cave to cave, begging for two stones to light a fire. This album is verses to live by, from that forgotten island in the middle of a crowded world. Never in my little rascally boyish Mokenistic Cameroon mind did I ever dream of being in the same Village Voice Singles Chart with David Bowie. And for all those pretending Jesuses hiding this from the world, thank you for setting this music fire with gasoline. Hardship to me is a golden opportunity to create a better warship to sail these wavy seas of life".
