Every year we lose more and more species. Humanity is wasting the beauty of the world in which it exists. Is it possible that the person of the future will become more aware and attentive to the environment? We believe that it is, and we offer the concept of an airport-reserve, most of which is pristine nature. On its territory, scientists will be able to restore rare species, as well as contain animals that were tried to smuggle out of the country. Guests of the reserve will be able to get acquainted with the wildlife, which is now almost in the city. We propose a new practice of co-existence with those biological species that have not been accorded the necessary respect by man throughout history. But the anthropocene epoch should change this
Indira Gandhi international airport in a hundred years is not just an airport, but a special protected Park where scientists and volunteers are engaged in breeding rare species of animals and plants. Part of the area of the existing airport retains its function: the runways serve for international traffic. But the southern part no longer belongs to man. The age of the anthropocene is being replaced by an era of new practices of coexistence.
There are two types of towers on the territory of the reserve. The first one is intended for employees. The tower consists of transport and laboratory modules. Drones guarantee safe and fast movement for the ecosystem.
The second type is designed for Park guests. This tower houses residential modules, visitors can stay alone with nature without disturbing its harmony. At the base of both towers are power units. Greenhouses and ecofarms located in isolated blocks provide employees with food. In this way, the system can be self-sufficient in providing services.
