Corokitty is a project to design an affordable feral cat winter cat shelter that reflects the love and care that feral cat caretakers show for their colonies. Most feral cat shelters are made with love but are not particularly attractive. Given the shelter is a proxy for a feral cat colony it is important that it represents caretaker's actions as beneficial to the community. Feral cat caretakers are often faced battling with some community members that see the cats as a nuisance. Although cats are the number one pet in the U.S. these outdoor cats are not often shown the same care.
