I did this cover for Tomahawks and Zombies by Joe Beausoleil:
"While enjoying the beaches and the ruins of the Yucatán peninsula a zombie virus breaks out. The vacation is over; it's time for survival. With air traffic grounded, Jake Wandering Spirit and his friend’s form a plan to drive the 6427 KM from Cancun to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada amidst the chaos and the unknown. This is one man's journal of survival and travel amidst a zombie apocalypse."
I tried to reinforce the idea of an apocalyptic found-journal by combining literal elevents form the book and adding a lot of texture. The font, created by a designer who scanned a bunch of religious pamphlet he found on a trip to Mexico, really adds a disoriented industrial sort of vibe.
