Meltdown Festival - Speculative Rebrand

MELTDOWN REBRAND

This project was to rebrand the 30th anniversary of the Meltdown Music Festival. 

This festival is diverse and eclectic in terms of artists and performances with an energetic, bold and colourful atmosphere. I wanted its brand design to be bold and interesting. I stuck with using the Southbank Centre colour palette as it is a part of the Meltdown Festival. The vibrant yellow helps to show the energy and creativity of the festival. For the Festival logo I stuck with a bold typeface with a little addition of ligature. For the 30th Anniversary logo I used the spiral staircase of Southbank Centre to solidify the tie between the two (building and festival).
