When Viximo went through a business model shift, they approached Hunt & Gather to redesign their website. The company has a fresh, quirky personality and works directly with the gaming industry. Our approach included a new look and feel for the site, but also a new tone. From quirky custom-created illustrations to clever, tongue-in-cheek copy, H&G helped shape the new Viximo website so that it maintained the right blend of trusty professional with relevant, upbeat gamer. In addition to copy and design elements, H&G also explored unique ways of moving throughout the web experience. A “tour” section utilizes long page layouts where users “slide” down the page and into new content. These animated transitions were yet another effective way to bring life to the user experience in a way that was both playful and professional.
