Swim Bike Run (SBR) has a single shop in New York that wanted to create an online presence that replicated the in-store experience customers had. While in the store or at an event, customer could speak with world class athletes and receive customized equipment and apparel that would allow them to reach their peak performance. SBR had long-standing employees who had a loyal fan base that could reach a wider audience worldwide. SBR’s growth includes plans to be a major bike distributor in 5 countries. The site Hunt & Gather designed includes a strategy to grow to 5 sites and be localized for both language, currency and taxation requirements. All 5 sites would be managed with a master inventory database.Designing the site experience, Hunt & Gather focused on clearly distinguishing SBR by leading with expertise and creating an expert-monitored community to build a long-term, trusted relationship throughout the sales cycle. SBR’s store was a seamless destination of a resource based sale that was supported by the SBR expert and the fellow triathletes around the world.
