Physical skill plays a major role in panning shot. The more you precisely synchronize the cam with the moving object the better the result would be.
All shots were done with Canon EOS Mark3 cam with lenses 100-400, 16-35 F2.8 & 24-105 F4

the focus is on the first bike, hence the difference in speed between the bikes makes the propotional blur.
