Titan watch division was started in 1987. At launch itwas the third watch company in India after HMT andAllwyn. Titan formed a joint venture with Timex, which lasted until 1998, and setup a strongdistribution network across India. Now it has a wide range of products including backpack. The brand is known for its youth centered products in India.
DESIGN BRIEF:   A Range of bags for Fastrack
 To design a range of backpacks for 18-25 years old, which would have an unconventional shape, show casing its brand’s identity.

NEED / ROLE FOR THE PRODUCT
•    Fastrack launchedbags in 2010
•    Fastrack bags target college kids with an ultra active lifestyle.
•    The current range of bags includes backpacks, messenger bags, shoulder bags, 
      duffels and gym bags,for both girls & guys, in materials like polyester, nylons and canvas.

Fastrack ishas a wide and shallow assortment strategy in their merchandising planning.
They have both men and women’s wearof watches, glasses, wallets, bags, wrist bands, belts. In these they have nota lot of verity in size and color but have enough designs to suite the brand. 
Categorization made after market survey and interaction with people between 15 to 25 years of age using questionnaires and personal interviews.
