Golden Hour Glow
For this assignment capturing sunsets during the golden hour, I selected subjects that complemented the warm, hues of the sunset, framing my shots to create visually appealing images, often trying to use the rule of thirds to place the main subject off-center for a more dynamic composition.
The hardest part of completing this assignment was the time constraint, as capturing the perfect sunset moments within the fleeting golden hour required precise planning and execution to ensure I captured the desired shots before the light faded away.
Lastly, observing the impact of light on my subjects was a significant learning experience. During the golden hour, the soft, warm light transformed ordinary scenes into visually captivating moments. I noticed the sun cast long, dramatic shadows. Whilst capturing images for this assignment, I gained a deeper appreciation for the transformative power of light in, understanding how it can dramatically enhance the mood and atmosphere of a scene.
