Wine Caddy
I decided to build this project because I enjoy drinking wine and often go to a local winery when I am back home. I saw multiple different versions of a project like this on Pinterest but decided on this one because I liked the idea of the sides holding glasses as well. To build this, I used common board scraps from my previous projects.
The first step was to use the chop saw to cut two 3.5inX14in pieces. Then I decided to round the top edges to give a cleaner design using the belt sander.
Next I cut two 3.5inX3.5in pieces using the chop saw for the side hanging parts. Then I used a forstner bit on the drill press to cut a 1-3/4 in hole through the center. Lastly, I used the band saw to cut the gaps between the hole and the edge for the glass to slide through.
Then I cut one 3.5inX12in piece for the base and four 1.5inX5in pieces for the side railings. I used sand paper to soften the edges of them as well.
Finally, I drilled 3/4in holes in the top of the wall pieces and then put all of the pieces together using a brad nail gun. Then I super glued the rope to the inside of the holes to carr
