A pediatric ophthalmologist for more than three decades, Alan B. Richards, M.D., sees patients at Highland Clinic and LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Alan B. Richards, M.D., maintains membership in the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Comprised of board-certified ophthalmologists from the United States and Canada, the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus aims to improve children’s vision as well as treatment procedures. Through research, training, and educational resources, members gain access to best practices in pediatric ophthalmology to enhance their private practices.

 

The organization currently serves nearly 1,500 members. The American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus will host its 2015 Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana. The meeting is slated to take place March 25th through March 29th at the Hyatt Regency. Registration for the annual meeting opens on November 24, 2014, and closes on March 3, 2015. Onsite registration will be available following the closing date at a higher fee.
