What is your fantasy?
The glamorous, perfect life we see in the media, or the utopia of a video game? Dominated by a small, square object, we may be consumed by Al's fantasy before we can even find our own. The shapeless objects in this painting are all twisted fantasies created by humans who have taken refuge in the rigid framework of cell phones, and the people who are being disintegrated by them are us, the creators of those fantasies. We are addicted to the stimulating illusions we create and are being eaten up, disintegrating, and losing ourselves.
Modern people are not ignorant of this media addiction. I hope that this work, which expresses the way we look at our cell phones even though we know it, will make us look at ourselves once again. If you're on your cell phone right now, I would say to you, "Throw that phone in the ocean. Put it in the deep end, so no one can find it." Quote from the movie A Decision to Decision To Leave
