My concept was very much inspired by the Art Nouveau style.I wanted to illustrate my Nouveau character morphing into a chess piece. Iincorporated many different chess references throughout the piece from herclothing, to the border, to the checkerboard she is placed on. The colors alsoreflect the Art Nouveau style.
