In 16th century Europe, a propaganda film warns of sea monsters lurking in the mysterious ocean waters, while exposing citizens who sympathize with these creatures.

Made in the visual and narrative style of World War era propaganda this film seeks to create an imaginary late medieval Europe where many wars are being waged ; some are against distant lands for colonization , some are against mother nature and the creatures it harbors and some are against those intellectuals who want to preserve the natural habitat for those creatures and dare to speak up against human greed.
The film is a culmination of 9 years of hard work and an international collaborative effort between many artists from different parts of the world.  Original screenplay, design, direction , animation is by me. FX animation were done in collaboration with Berlin based Studio NICE. Voice actors in this film are Dries DeSmit and Stephane Everaert from Belgium.
I wanted to create a soundscape that reminded the listener of pre-Baroque era Europe. The film score is composed by Paul Hillier and performed by Grammy Award winning vocal group from Copenhagen 'Theatre of Voices'. The music was recorded in two venues Trinitatis Church,Copenhagen and Trekoner Church, Roskilde. We also used the composition by J. S. Bach.
