Henri Cartier-Bresson and Ansel Adams were both influential photographers, but their styles were very different. While Ansel was known for his landscape photography in black and white, focusing on capturing the nature, Henri thrived in street photography, capturing candid moments in people's daily lives.

For a photo to be called candid photography, it usually means when the picture is taken when the person is unaware they are being photographed. For my two pictures, they were taken without the people knowing.

In the first picture, I blurred the background using SnapSeed because there was a kid running so that it emphasizes Mr. Albert more. This draws attention to him, showing that he's in charge of watching over the kids. The intentional blur makes the picture more interesting and also shows that Mr. Albert is actively involved and responsible for looking after the children. By focusing on him, it tells a stronger story about his duties and how he's engaged in the moment, making the photo more interesting and focused.

For my second picture, it was more clear on who the main character was in this particular picture as I've blurred the background and added some vignette to the picture using SnapSeed. The background blur helps eliminate distractions, allowing for a clearer focus on the main person in the photograph. Using a vignette adds an effect by darkening the edges, subtly guiding the viewer's gaze towards the primary subject. By highlighting the main character and using effects like background blur and vignette, I aimed to make the picture more captivating and visually appealing.
