How many days have you lived?

El pasado 27 y 28 de mayo de 2022, en Tallers Oberts BCN, celebré un evento en el patio del Taller Balam donde dibujé en directo (con iPad) los perfiles de los visitantes.

Esta actividad ya la había realizado en dos ocasiones anteriormente, se titula “¿Cuántos días has vivido?” en la que, después de realizar el retrato, escribo también el número de días que ha vivido el modelo hasta esa fecha.

La idea es que, al contar el tiempo de nuestra vida en días en lugar de años, tal y cómo estamos acostumbrados, podemos adquirir una perspectiva diferente de nosotros.

Esta última vez el dibujo se realizó en iPad, pero las dos veces anteriores (2016, 2017) realicé los retratos a lápiz.

Nuestro hermano peruano Óscar Pacheco filmó y realizó el vídeo.

2022年5月27日・28日、バルセロナ公開ワークショップ（Tallers Oberts BCN）の一環で、Taller Balamのパティオで来場者の横顔をiPadにライブで描くというイベントを行った。

これは過去に二度行った「あなたは何日生きましたか？」と題したシリーズで、肖像画には肖像の主がその日までに生きた日数が書き入れられている。

人生の時間を、私たちが普段慣れている年数ではなく日数で数えてみることで、違った視点を得られるのではないか、という目論見である。

今回は紙に鉛筆で描いた過去二回（2016年、2017年）とは素材を変え、iPadに描いた。

Last May 27 and 28, 2022, in Tallers Oberts BCN, I held an event in the courtyard of Taller Balam, where I drew live (with iPad) the profiles of the visitors.

I had done this activity twice before, it is titled “How many days have you lived?” in which, after making the portrait, I also write the number of days the model has lived up to that date.

The idea is that by counting the time of our life in days instead of years, as we are used to, we can gain a different perspective of ourselves.

This last time the drawing was done on iPad, but the two previous times (2016, 2017) I did the portraits in pencil.
