Together with Elsevier, we produced cinematic imagery depicting the real-life patient/caregiver experience through the cancer treatment journey. Over a two-day shoot, with multiple diverse talent, we recreated scenarios in both the oncology office and at home settings. In order to bring a real human element to the images, we casted everyday people who fit the brand’s different target demographics. Each character’s story came to life through a library of images that told the intimate story of their own medical journey.
Day 1: On Location
Over several days, Andres Hernandez Studio scouted locations that would perfectly complement what Elsevier’s vision was for the “at home” setting. The house we ultimately booked had multiple floors and rooms that lent themselves to the different scenes we aimed to capture based on the client’s storyboard.
Day 2: In Studio
As a creative solution to recreating an oncology office that was as much “real” as it needed to be versatile, Andres Hernandez Studio rented Jack Studios along medical equipment and props to build each patient/doctor interaction on set.
