The religion of the death
What does your work represent to you?

My art is a form of existence for me. I exist in contemplation of the world, in search of my feelings. It's normal for me to associate completely unrelated things and find a new turn, a new meaning. I feel like a researcher, studying new topics and finding new meanings, I like to create images of synthetic art based on history, culture, psychology and philosophy, it gives me a sense of foundation under my artistic works.

I work for the result and the culmination of the creative whirlwind is a photo shoot, it is a happening that cannot be repeated. The interaction of image, costume, model, photographer as a single organism living here and now is unique. It's like the birth of life and death in a few hours, lifeless paper comes to life on the model, and the living model becomes a sculpture, freezing. I feel the completion of the project only after the photo shoot, the photos are no longer important, only this unique process is important.

In what ways does your work address current social or political issues?

My work has previously been devoted exclusively to the history of costume or my reinterpretations of national dress.  I worked for pleasure, explored and wanted to bring only beauty and joy to the world. Now the vector of my projects has changed, through my own experience and personal reflections.

I began to create costumes and objects that carry deep experiences and help my creative component to revive itself and find the strength to create even in conditions of suffering and pain, For me, I perceive new projects as a transition to another stage, perhaps more personal, but definitely more meaningful and deep.
