FAUX IMAGES is delighted to invite you to our XIII’s session on Tuesday, September 9th, at 8pm.
This time we feature talks by the amazingly talented We Think Things, an up-and-coming design, direction and animation duo from Hamburg. Already vimeo stars, their work has been screened on festivals in Berlin, Paris, and New York and was awarded at the ADC Germany Junior Awards in 2011.
Furthermore, we are pleased to present you ARTIFICAL ROME, recent 5 ADC Nails winner for their Kia Project. ‘They provide deep interactive experiences. Forever experimenting, they combine cutting edge technologies with a human touch.’ To hear whatever that means, come and listen to them speak.
Last but certainly not least, we are proud to be able to invite Joost Korngold aka Renascent. One of the true pioneers of the medium and all-time-hero of ours. He will show his latest work as well as talk about his process.
As always hosted by Mate Steinforth and held at our trusted venue LEAP at Leipziger Strasse, we’re looking forward to seeing you all. Entry is free and stays free.

At each meeting, local and international filmmakers, designers and artists from related disciplines are invited to present their work through lectures and screening.
"Faux Images" is organised by Andreas Fischer & Mate Steinforth in cooperation with the Lab for Electronic Arts and Performance (LEAP) and WeAreChopChop.
