Diseño de Señalética
El desafío del proyecto fue generar un sistema de señalización que pueda aportar y transmitir alegría en el estado de animo de los trabajadores de la empresa, permitiendo un recorrido amigable, ordenado y funcional. La solución se la encontró en el color y la sobriedad. Los números de cada piso se fabricaron en acrílico transparente añadiendo elegancia y dejando que la luz del ambiente se mescle con el color para producir volúmenes y reflejos que destacan las formas tipográficas.
Esta solución cromática se extendió a la decoración y cromática de cada piso, se diseño un sistema de iconografía amigable y moderno que pudiera conjugarse con los colores, que mantenga su carácter informativo pero actúe en ocasiones como elemento decorativo.
Wayfinding System Design
Kruger Corporation is one of the largest companies in consulting and software development in Ecuador with over 20 years experience. Starting this year (2014) Kruger completed the construction of its new 9-story building and commission us the environmental graphic design of the whole building.
The challenge of the project was to generate environmental graphics that could bring joy and improve the mood of the workers in the enterprise, creating a friendly, organized and functional way-finding system.
The solution was found in color and sobriety. Each floor of the building was assigned a color, the numbers of each floor were made of transparent acrylic adding elegance and letting the ambient light mix with color to produce volumes and reflections that highlight typographic forms.
This chromatic solution was extended to the decoration of each floor, followed by a modern iconography system that could be combined with bright colors, maintaining clarity in the information and acting as a decorative design element
