Pringles Ad Campaign -
BE YOU. BE ORIGINAL.
This is a group project, and Pringles is not our client.
This project excites me because it allows us to create the whole package of ad campaigns. From brand and product choosing, brainstorming, and photo shoots to finishing the design layout and presenting. It is really fun in the process, and it’s a huge accomplishment for us because the work is fantastic!
My role: Concept Strategist/ Photographer/ Graphic Designer
Team: Co-Director/ Adeeb Nami, Vincent Ermellini
Software: Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop/ InDesign/ Lightroom
Design concept
Our campaign aims to raise awareness about mental health issues, specifically addressing the common practice of putting on a facade in public while only revealing true emotions in private. We advocate for promoting openness and expressing genuine feelings around others. Concealing emotions can lead to misconceptions about one’s true self and contribute to personal struggles. In reality, we believe it’s crucial to communicate with family, friends, or co-workers, acknowledging that everyone faces challenges, and it’s okay to share those experiences openly.
We utilized the MiroBoard sheet to compile and showcase all our inspirations and ideas. Vincent Ermellini contributed two sketches, providing a preliminary direction for the upcoming photo shoot.
Photography Work
We used Photoshop to mask out the face from a Pringles bottle as part of our preparations for an interactive campaign. This initiative encourages individuals to freely express their true emotions by drawing on the masked area.
Design Work
The completed project features distinct emotions captured in individual pictures, conveying the overarching idea of “BE YOU. BE ORIGINAL” as the central tagline.
