FlySafair is a South African airline. Along with fourth other artists, I was asked to create a pattern for the interior of one of their planes. For the project I was asked to draw inspiration from the beautiful country of South Africa. As one of those lucky people who truly believe they live in the most beautiful country on Earth, I was able to draw inspiration from my own travels to celebrate my beautiful country. I also set out to emphasise that traveling is not a destination, but an experience. After submitting the project I was asked to expand the designs to individual postcards to celebrate all the destinations FlySafair travel to in South Africa. Here is what happened...
