Gagarin Design Award (GDA) is an annual international graphic design competition. The GDA is aimed at identifying young talents, creating opportunities for realising their creative potential, developing a global community of graphic designers for the exchange of experience and ideas, organising offline and online exhibitions of the best works inspired by Yuri Gagarin and his contribution to the development of world astronautics.
In 2021 and 2022, the best works of the competition were presented in one of the most important, honorable and historical places at VDNKh in the Cosmos pavilion, which created an additional inspiring atmosphere. In 2023, an exhibition of competitive posters was exhibited in the center of Moscow in the Muzeon art park, which certainly contributed to the popularization of the designers’ work.
