This project gave me great pleasure, knowing that I would be helping a friend start a brand. Miguel Alexandre created ZAM lighting this 2014 year, and asked me to design him a piece. It was an honor to me and had a great time doing it.

 

In a concept phase I made an inspirational mood board of what I could retain from the meeting with the ZAM guys, and started from there. You can see bellow the images that mostly inspired my creative process.

I wanted to create something really adaptable, and at the same time funny. Joining various factors from the industrial world and trying to reconcile with the interior's world I created Marfik so it bring the best of both. With Marfik you can add arms or take them out and adapt very easily to any project.
