Each artist was asked to create work remixing or re-interpreting a creative commons image. We were inspired by a photograph of an Antoni Gaudi mosaic and his appropriation of broken or discarded ceramics in its creation.

We decided to adopt the idea of using remnants in our process and incorporated leftover threads from previous projects in the design. Also where threads ended we continued on with fresh colours to echo the broken tiles of the Gaudi mosaic.
