Tiny Cleaver
This project was inspired by a desire to explore the art of knife making and its many intricacies. The Tiny Cleaver is based off of the larger cleaver or butcher knife design, yet shrunk down to be a utensil to make normal everyday cutting feel more exciting. The design of the cleaver is a unique one by having a large and strong blade, which makes it ideal for chopping rather than slicing. This knife was cut from steel using a file created in Inkscape, on a Wazer water jet.Then a carbon fiber handle was cut and fastened on using rivets.
