I count myself lucky to have snagged such an interesting domain. You might assume I'm a tech-savvy mastermind who strategically acquired it, but the truth is far simpler.
Flashback to 2008: I was a college student with a passion for graphic design and photography, more absorbed in pixels than HTML. Enter my friend Niranjan, a fellow enthusiast in all things internet. Together, we embarked on countless web ventures, crafting websites and dreaming big.
One fine day, Niranjan casually mentioned,
"Hey, dude, jith.in is available. Want it?"
At that time, I was a novice in the digital realm, still navigating the wonders of the web with my first mobile phone acquired just the year prior. The concept of domains and registrations seemed like arcane magic to me. But I recognized the opportunity for what it was – a once-in-a-lifetime chance.
"Yes, sure, get it for me,"
I responded, and that's how jith.in became mine.
Since then, I've tinkered with my website, striving for a minimalist approach due more to necessity than design philosophy. My HTML and CSS skills were rudimentary at best, so I settled for a simple one-page layout, featuring just my contact details.
That's the unassuming tale of how jith.in came to be.
