Meet Kasey Grenet

Kasey's connection to sports, particularly soccer, goes all the way back to when I played in my town's youth leagues, all the way to High School. While in High School, he got his first job as a youth soccer coach, and has been coaching at Everson Soccer Academy for almost 6 years. Kasey currently also volunteer to coach Girl's High School soccer in Hamden, CT.
So, why did Kasey choose sports marketing and media?
"Well, I suppose it stemmed from my love of soccer and coaching, to want to get more involved and learn about the business side of things. With my job, we do a lot of promoting and media content on social media, to advertise the programs we offer, and after doing a week of filming for our new website over the summer, I became interested and wanted to contribute. When it comes to media and content creation, my interests began when I made silly youtube videos with friends in middle school and early high school. I became fascinated in content creation from not only this, but other youtube creators as well. This also got me very into video editing, where I now use Adobe products, such as premier pro, to edit videos for personal use, and for friends. I am always looking to improve on how to be creative with my ideas, my production and filming quality, and my editing ability. My goal would be to merge my two worlds, of my love and work in soccer, and my passion for content creation. " - Kasey Grenet
One day, Kasey would love to be able to work for a sports organization’s media group, preferably within soccer. When he looks at some sports teams like the popular soccer team, Manchester United, he sees how they get creative to not only promote as a team, but as a business as well.
