Mission
This is a project in collaboration with AAT Vietnam, an organization that takes actions against human trafficking in Vietnam. The purpose of the episodic animation is to raise awareness about human trafficking and personal development among children, teenagers and young adults.
Ideation
According to The Supreme People's Procuracy of Vietnam, most victims come from rural, mountainous provinces, and remote areas, where people still live in difficulty. 50% of the trafficked persons of Vietnamese origin identified in Cambodia come from An Giang province, according to the report of SIREN in 2008. Moreover, women are trafficked to Cambodia from the southern provinces of Vietnam largely for sex work.
In conclusion, from the researches I conducted, the west of Vietnam is one of the top places of human trafficking cases. That’s why I chose the west of Vietnam as the inspiration for building the story universe.

An, the bunny, discovers that her mom is in great debt to the mafia on her way home. A snake approaches her to promise a well-paid job. As a gullible girl, she agrees, but later finds that she has been human-trafficked and forced to be a sex worker. She is so overwhelmed by the situation to such a point that she wakes up from her visions. It turns out she’s actually at home with her friends. But soon there’s a snake guy showing up, dressing like the one in her dream and introducing exactly the same offer. Therefore, she turns down the offer without hesitation.
