Pen-scapes
I always take colored pens and a sketchbook with me wherever I am. I enjoy finding the strong colors in landscapes and pushing the colors with bright pens. Many of my sketches are explorations into simplifying forms and shapes, reducing complex shapes into blocks of color. I am strongly influenced by Japanese woodblock prints and their stylisation of the landscape.
