Miami Beach on Ektachrome E100VS
These are shots from a cloudy morning walk through South Beach in Oct 2021. Shot with a Hasselblad 501CM. This particular roll expired in 2002, so 19 years later the film holds up pretty well. I suspect that it was stored properly, probably in someone's fridge. I performed minor color correction, but there's no surprise there considering the age of the film. I hope one day Kodak brings back this version of Ektachrome because E100VS is beautiful. I love the vivid saturation of the colors, hence the name "VS". I still have rolls of other versions of E100 to develop so I will keep on sharing when they are ready. - ER Feb 2024.
