Cassina ECHOES
Motion Design & Art Direction
"Echoes" is an exhibition (and later a book) that presented, on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2023, the most iconic pieces made by Cassina throughout its history, with all its Masters, as they call them. Tommaso Dell'Anna was asked by Studio Patricia Urquiola to take care of the music that played in the exhibition rooms and to curate 18 videos about the architects, artists, and designers featured in the exhibition. I curated the art direction and the motion design of the type and titles of different videos. Together we conceived, designed and animated various typographic elements to enrich the concept of the exhibition, paying homage to the different avant-gardes that inspired the works on display.
